Lydia discovered the benefits of yoga several years ago following multiple visits to the doctor with constant complaints of sore knees, frequent foot and ankle problems, and weight loss struggles.

One of her doctor’s suggestions was yoga. Lydia was quickly amazed at how her practice alleviated not only her physical issues but the stresses brought on by work and ‘everyday’ life.

With additional study and multiple classes at HYI, she was hooked. Lydia has practiced at HYI for the last three years, and she’s known for her authentic, positive, and non-judgmental teaching style.
​She constantly seeks to challenge her students while providing a fun and friendly environment.
