Why Neck, Shoulders, and Hips?
The neck, shoulders, and hips are some of the most consistently demanded areas of the body - supporting posture, movement, and stability throughout daily life.
What’s often missed is how interconnected these areas are. Mobility in the hips influences pelvic position. Pelvic position affects spinal organization. Spinal organization directly impacts how the shoulders function, and shoulder tension frequently shows up as discomfort in the neck.
This workshop is designed to help you understand these relationships and experience how working with the body in a thoughtful sequence can lead to more supported, longer-lasting relief.
An Intentional Approach to Movement
How We'll Work

Who This Workshop is For
Work Shop Flow
This workshop blends anatomy education, breath awareness, and movement to support both understanding and experience.
We’ll begin with guided pranayama to establish internal awareness and gently prepare the nervous system. From there, we’ll move through a spinal and joint warm-up, followed by slow, accessible sun salutations to build warmth and integration.
Once the body is prepared, we’ll explore anatomy-informed mobility and stretching working intentionally from the hips upward to support the spine, shoulders, and neck without forcing or intensity.
You can expect a mix of:
-
Breath awareness and nervous system preparation
-
Spinal and joint warm-up
-
Gentle, non-rushed sun salutations
-
Anatomy-informed mobility and stretching
-
Longer, supported rest
The focus is on preparation, sequencing, and sustainability - not depth or performance.
- A clearer understanding of how the hips, spine, shoulders, and neck affect one another
- Increased ease through areas that commonly hold tension
- Greater awareness of how sequencing influences how your body feels
- A sense of integration and support rather than isolated release
This workshop isn’t about quick fixes — it’s about noticing how the body responds when movement is organized thoughtfully.
- Experience recurring tension in the neck, shoulders, or hips
- Spend long hours sitting, driving, or working at a desk
- Want to understand why certain stretches and warm-ups help
- Appreciate a slower, more intentional approach to movement
All levels are welcome. This workshop is appropriate for students, practitioners, and yoga teachers seeking a deeper understanding of anatomy and sequencing.
